In other news I downloaded The Resident Evil 5 demo from the PSN on Monday... IT IS AWESOME!!! playing offline co-op with Nicola is really fun! so looking forward to the full game and definatly looking forward to Street Fighter IV I also should be getting my copy of Dissidia any day now..

Firstly! it seems like this is happening to quite a few people recently, I'm quitting mah job! and after X-mas I'm getting a better on there are 2 HMV's and a GAME in West End so I'll be going for them.
have started on cosplay bits hopefully after X-mas it'll be safe to go out to buy some more things so I won't get crushed by the hordes of everyday shoppers.

Small update since I've not been here in a while, i still look at others journals and comment but rarely post a new entry but anyways,
Amecon was great I didn't cosplay alto mostly just Friday and i basically missed the King of Fighters group anyway because I had to finish my Rock Howard jacket at the con took 3 damn hours to make a bloody collar. well I had only a few pictures taken also I have 2 so far hope to see some more around soon.
the most fun I had was talking to friends on the few nights I stayed up late, even though I don't dance or sing (be thankful XD) I really liked just spending time with everyone and watching Donna try to make Dez dance while she was enjoying the songs she likes. Mark was as always very stylish. and Kat was thankfully also one to just watch but still enjoy the moment both me and Nicola didn't feel left out this year and the meal was wonderful, more to come in the future I hope! ^__^

to anyone interested this is probably the best Kingdom Hearts cosplay group ever!!

looking forward to Expo and Minami, I miss you guys!! XP

Alright! cosplay has been floating round my head so much as i have no time for it recently like a friggin' curse!
and dammit tomorrow.. OVERTIME MY ASS!!!! I'm NOT doing it next time, screw it! I NEEEEEEEEDS as much time as I can get...

okay everyone wants a Shadow Hearts group now, i wanted to do SH2 Yuri last year but it seemed it was too obscure but lo' and behold there's a group THIS year... so I am going to try and make SH2 Yuri for this year's Amecon. I know Dez was pondering about SH1 Yuri so is that okay? ^_^ let me know, if anyone else was going to do SH2 Yuri and I can just do it for Minami or something if me and Nicola can go, since she might do Alice for then.

Link WILL happen I promise Donna, just I need more time for it so thanks for the help on my last post, you too Mark. :D will try to work on Link in bits. Kilik the same.. right now I can't do all that armour but hopefully one day.
I really want to get Sora done, the idea of so much comfort wearing it keeps me wanting to do this cosplay. XD

I have started my job at ASDA or as you Americans know it as Wal ê Mart. my hours are a bit lame as I said last time.
this is what I'll be working...

Sunday: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Monday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 3:00pm

yeah, I'll unfortunatly be working the days that yaminoaeris has off University. MAJOR BUMMER!!! >_<

and the pay is okay, £6.36 an hour, though i'll be paid every month not week.. *sads*

I got the job~!!!!! :D the pay is great but the hours are a bit... ;_____; I will be working Sunday, Monday and some other day I can't remember... only three days I know but I will be working about 7 hours each one. *sads* especially Sunday as it's 12pm to 7pm.. *mega sads* I think the other days are 8am to 3pm... buuuuuuut £138.15p a week says Huzzah!!

Hey all! sorry I've been so quiet recently, but things have been busy with job hunting more precisely ASDA I handed in a form a while ago to them, and a few days ago I got a phone call to go in for a 'group selection' after which if you did bad they'd send a letter saying you didn't meet requirements or you'd get a letter saying you met the requirements but there are no vacancies for the 2 departments you chose. (you get a form in the group selection interveiw for hours you can work and departments to chose, I chose 'Home & Leisure' as the 1st and 'Produce' as the 2nd.) anyways if you did meet requirements and there are vacancies for the deparments you chose then you get another phone call and get called into another interveiw. anyways, whats important is I went to the 'group selection' the other day and tonight I got a phone call~!!! so tomorrow I'm going for another interveiw at 3:00pm BOOYA!

first thing I'm buying is a goddam phone that works. >_< got my eye on that Motorola V3 RAZR nice Blue one. then some new Trainers, mine got too scuffed had them for years, so I think I deserve some. XD

anyways, wish me luck because I am going to need it!!

next year I would like to cosplay the all three Heros from Grandia, (Justin, Ryudo and Yuki) as at some point I have said I wanted to cosplay them and haven't done any yet and as I want to support Grandia as much as possible I'd like to cosplay these three over 2008 if I can.

anyways like I said, I need some info about whats happening with groups for the coming cons.

thankfully my Mother has been able to get me the PS3 she promised me for my X-mas prezzie before all that delay on European machines. it's in the post right now so i won't get it till either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday... no PS3 games to play yet but I will get Sonic the Hedgehog when I can, I know it looks shitty but thats due to bad direction and terrible voice acting.. I will play this as I am a big fan of Sonic and I hope that the next game will bring my favourite blue Hedgehog back to form! though I DO have Grandia III and MagnaCarta: CS still to play and as they are US games a PS3 is my best bet for playing them... (tried other methods of playing imports, just does more damage than help) XP
anyways i look forward to sticking all my music, images etc onto my PS3 next week.

well today went out with to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2007) and holy crap it is DAMN GOOD!!!!! there's probably a bunch of you thinking right now.. "ah man this guys a nut for thinking TMNT is cool" well think whatever I think it is such a well made movie of an old childhood thing, so it's kinda sentimental to me a sense. the story is gripping, surprising but easy to follow... and the CG is of an incredible quality.
It's a shame that Cam Clarke wasn't cast for the role of Leonardo and they cast James Arnold (Tidus) Taylor instead, but to my surprise James Taylor did an alright job as Leo.. the other voice actors also did great jobs with the voices sounding close to what I remember from the original cartoon and the previous movies.
the inclusion of Zhang Ziyi for the role Karai of was cool too. (her english is quite good) I was surprised as all the movies I've seen with her in she's just spoken Chinese. Mikey was hilarious and equally so was the rest. my favourite will always be Raphael. ^_____^ but all the Turtles and Master Splinter will always totally kick shell~~!! I very much hope a second will be made. I highly recommend this movie especially if these Turtles were any part of your childhood...

well I have Oathkeeper painted and practically finished just need to add a cheap/lightweight chain to it.. picture of it is here:

not the best I know but it's all I can do with cardboard.. : /
and as I said before I plan on having Oathkeeper AND Oblivion.
now on the subject of Oblivion, I have already tried making it and I had almost finished it (aside from painting) but there were massive problems with size and weight so it failed badly. *sigh* however right at this moment I am remaking it apart from the hilt as that was the only thing I could save and reuse, and at the moment it's looking good, size is much better and from the looks of it the weight problem should be no more also. : )

Also I found a really nice KHII crown pendant for Sora too, I would make one but I'm not the freaking genius you'd have to be to make one : /
not too sure what else I'll be cosplaying... hopefully finish Vaan?? but I'd like to have at least 3.

Anyway I am really looking forward to Amecon! I really want to see you all again and I want to really make up for the cosplaying that I missed at the last Amecon and make up for the absence at Minami.
Thanks to all of you who just came back from Minami and have posted pictures of your cosplays because of that I feel really inspired to just do cosplay!! Thanks! ^_^

XD) Sorry me and yaminoaeris can't go but sometimes life really does get in the way... ;__; hopefully we can save and go to AX with you lot next year~! ^__^ and also we should be able to make it to Amecon too!!

well I finished FFXII at about 6:00pm this evening, took just over 100 hours, it could have been sooner but i was reluctant to go to the last dungeon because I just didn't want it to end. ;_____; still i have plenty of extra's to do thankfully.
annnnnnnnnnd dayum! that was an awesome ending!!!

well I shall say no more as to not spoil it. I hope everyone else who's playing it now enjoys the ending as much as I did when they finish it.

Well yesterday... or was it today?? hmm I forget actually, anyway myself and yaminoaeris registered for Amecon 2007.
and I have decided on 2 cosplays so far.. as I have lots of time to do them (I say this now... XP)

my first choice is... SORA from Kingdom Hearts II I've wanted to do this for a while and I just KNOW it will be comfortable probably the most comfortable cosplay i will ever own. Mark I want to know if you have anything planned for Amecon masqerade wise and if you'll be taking Riku.

also VAAN from Final Fantasy XII reason being I have already started this and shouldn't be too difficult, albeit it will be freezing wearing it XP which actually reminds me i was thinking today that the weather in this country is ridiculously bad and I think cons should be held more near the middle of the year not at the beginning or end when the weather here is at it's worst.
not sure of any others yet but those two I will have to definatly get done.

FFXII~!!!! FINALLY!!

Playing it at the moment although a few hours ago I went to see Hot Fuzz and I just got back (absolutly incredible film by the way... go see it RIGHT NOW~!!)
anyways, I'm at the Barheim passage so not too far in really having fun kicking ass right now. didn't go to the event at HMV. but i did manage to pick the game up at about 8:40am from ASDA and for only £27.77p freaking score!

also Donna, we found something that must have gotten buried under some stuff and we didn't realise. a very lovely Christmas Card from you! Thank you so much, we are sorry we didn't find it sooner but really thank you, the message inside was wonderful and heartwarming and to add your handwriting is cool. ^_^

well I hope everyone who got it today enjoys playing FFXII as much as I do~! Oh! and Emma, I hope you had a wonderful time at the launch event and I hope you enjoy promoting FFXII~!

I have just finished the base (made from cardboard) for Vaans leg armor, spare the knee-parts as I have yet to do them~! but progress none-the-less~!!

*whew* so that's going quite well, still need to paint things and get fabric to make the jacket/vest thingy but yay! : D

Ahh! Dammit, news of a certain once in a lifetime competition has me wanting to cosplay Vaan (a good short notice cosplay)
*sigh* the deadline is very off putting as I would like to cosplay a character not almost every male is cosplaying but Vaan is the only one which is much less time consuming... it is doubtful (incredibly) if I could do it. buuuuuut I have been drawing down designs and ideas for Vaan and since I don't have materials right now I will make some prototype armour from cardboard and such.

I will one day cosplay both Vaan and Balthier of course but this is an awesome once-in-a-lifetime chance, one I will probably miss but since I can do something now i will try!

I hope princess_markgets to enter because he so deserves to with his Vaan! and I know he has a damn good chance of winning.

DAMN YOU FINAL FANTASY XII~!!! RAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!

P.S Mark, if I talk to you anytime soon be prepared to be quizzed about your Vaan! XD

AHHHHHH!!!

I played FFXII in HMV today!! saw the full intro and played as Reks with Fassler and Basch at the beginning a little. but NOOO! it just makes my want for it even worse! It's still so far away! ;____________________;

Also thinking about cosplaying Storm from Final Fantasy Versus XIII (pretty sure that's his name, was speculated to be storm and it HAS be confirmed that the girl from FFXIII is called Lightning though it could only be a codename.
